2008 Football Season Tickets Frequently Asked Questions

1. How will football season tickets be assigned?
Season tickets in all areas (e.g. Gold Zone, Red Zone, Deacon Hill) will be assigned as available based on the following priority: (1) Football Seat Rights holders, (2) Deacon Club members based on rank, (3) Non-Deacon Club renewals based on the date ticket orders are received (if available), and (4) new Non-Deacon Club patrons based on the date ticket orders are received (if available). Those who are not Seat Right holders will have their seat location moved every year based on Deacon Club rank and available seats.

2. How do I ensure my season tickets are ordered on priority?
In order to have your season tickets assigned on priority, applications must be submitted by the appropriate priority deadlines:

  1. Deacon Club members: April 30
  2. Non-Deacon Club renewals: May 28
Tickets for new non-Deacon Club patrons will be assigned as available based on the date ticket orders are received.

3. Can I purchase season tickets even if I didn't participate in the Football Seat Rights Program (FSRP)?
Those who did not participate in the Seat Rights Program can still purchase season tickets. Wake Forest sold 4,000 seat rights in the first year of the FSRP; thus over 13,000 tickets remain available for season ticket purchasers. Deacon Club members have priority after FSRP holders, and then non-Deacon Club members if available.

4. How many season tickets can I purchase on Deacon Club priority?
Deacon Club annual giving level determines the quantity of tickets members can purchase: Moricle (14), Black & Gold (14), Coliseum (14), Gold (12), Executive (10), Scholarship (8), Golden W (6), Golden C (4), and General (2). Seats in Deacon Tower count towards a member's priority seating total except for BB&T Field box suite holders. Members can purchase tickets beyond their allocated total, but they will be assigned on second priority after all Deacon Club orders have been allocated.

5. What if I want to purchase more season tickets than my Deacon Club priority limit allows?
Deacon Club members can purchase more tickets than allowed by their giving level; however, all tickets exceeding the priority limit will be assigned on second priority after all other Deacon Club members.

For example, Mr. Deacon is a General Level member who wants to purchase six season tickets. Two of these tickets will be assigned based on his Deacon Club rank, and the remaining four will be assigned in another location after all Deacon Club ticket requests have been filled.

6. What if I want more tickets than my Giving Level allows, but I want all of the tickets to be in the same location?
Members who want to purchase more tickets than their Giving Level allows can choose to have all of their tickets allocated in the same location, but these seats will be assigned on second priority (after all other Deacon Club ticket requests have been filled). Please indicate that you would like all tickets together in the seat location requests portion of the ticket application.

For example, Mr. Deacon is a General Level member who wants to purchase six season tickets all in the same location. His six seats will be assigned together, but after all other Deacon Club members' first priority requests have been filled.

Can I purchase tickets in the chair back seating sections?
The chair backs seating sections sold out to those participating in the Football Seat Rights Program and are only available to Football Seat Rights Holders.

7. Can Deacon Club members or ticket patrons request seats together?
Deacon Club members who request to be seated together should indicate all parties on their application. All parties must request the same option in order for the request to be honored. Seats will be allocated based on average rank.

8. How will ticket location be determined for those patrons who want to sit together?
Seats will be allocated based on the average Deacon Club rank of all members who request to sit together.

For example, three Deacon Club members ranked #400, #1200 and #4000 request to sit together. Tickets will be assigned together based on rank #1866, which is the average of the three numbers.

9. When will season tickets be mailed?
Season tickets will be mailed in mid-August.
