Redshirt Junior Natalie Mullikin was named first team All-ACC while freshman Kelsey Jones was rewarded with an All-Freshman Team selection on Tuesday.
Mullikin averaged 1.27 blocks, 3.94 kills and recorded a .320 hitting percentage. The middle blocker from Lebanon, Ind. broke the Wake Forest career block solos record this season; a mark that had stood for 21 years. Mullikin finished with 35 total.
This is the second All-ACC selection for Mullikin, as she was a second team honoree in 2006. This season saw her ranked in the top ten in the conference in kills per game, blocks per game, hitting percentage and points per game.
Mullikin started every match and played in every game for the Demon Deacons this season. She finished the year as Wake Forest's leader in kills, blocks, points and hitting percentage.
Jones, a setter from Ada, Mich., posted a team-high 13 assist-dig double-doubles for Wake Forest this season. She started 26 matches as a freshman and finished the year ranked in the top ten in the conference in assists per game with 10.80.
Jones also ranked second on the team in digs per game and hitting percentage.
