WINSTON-SALEM, NC - Wake Forest junior Trina Maso de Moya was named ACC Player of the Week for the third time this season following her performances versus conference opponents NC State and North Carolina.

Maso de Moya, an outside hitter from Plantation, FL, averaged 5.00 kills and 4.57 digs per game in the two matches. She recorded 23 kills, 20 digs and two blocks in a 3-1 victory over North Carolina. Against the Wolfpack, Maso de Moya led the Deacons to a 3-0 win behind 12 kills and 12 digs.

Wake Forest, now 16-7 overall and 7-5 in conference play, faces Duke on October 31 at 7:00 in Reynolds Gym. The Deacs will wrap up the regular season November 10 and 11 as they host Virginia and Maryland.
