Sept. 29, 2005 Winston-Salem, N.C. - The Wake Forest volleyball team will host North Carolina and NC State this weekend in a pair of ACC matches. The Demon Deacons are currently undefeated at home and look to extend their three-match winning streak. Currently 7-4 overall, Wake Forest enters the weekend after a pair of hard fought matches over Clemson and Georgia Tech. Against the Tigers, the Deacs took the match into five, falling 15-8 in the final game. Against the Yellow Jackets, the Deacs took the first game, marking the first time since the 2002 season that they have won a game against Georgia Tech. North Carolina is currently 7-5 overall and defeated both Virginia Tech and Virginia last weekend for a 2-0 mark in the ACC. NC State is 6-4 overall and fell to Virginia Tech and Virginia last weekend for a 0-2 mark in the conference.
