Women's Volleyball Defeats William & Mary

WILLIAMSBURG, VA -- Sophomore Sharon Harmsworth (Wadena, Sasktachewan) tied a career high with 18 kills and freshman Jessica Hood (Douglass, KS) added 14 kills as the Wake Forest volleyball team rolled past William & Mary, Friday night in Williamsburg, VA.

The Deacs won by scores of 15-7, 15-6, 6-15, 16-14 and improve to 4-3 on the season. William & Mary falls to 1-7.

Harmsworth recorded an attack percentage of .429, while Hood was not far behind with a .417. Junior Amber Grahn (Louisville, IL) recorded 47 assists to pace the Deacons.

Wake Forest will face Virginia Tech beginning at 1:00p.m. in Williamsburg, VA on Saturday.
