Wake Forest Volleyball Loses To Florida State
Winston-Salem, N.C. -- Florida State used a balance offensive attack to defeat Wake Forest 3-0 in ACC volleyball action at Reynolds Gym on Saturday night.
The Deacons fall to 8-22 and 1-14 in the ACC, while Florida State improves to 23-8 and 10-5 in the ACC.
Florida State was led by junior Susan Hawks who had eight kills and no errors for an attack percentage of .727. Fellow junior Fiona Bolten finished the night with 35 assists for the Seminoles.
Wake Forest's top player was sophomore Katie Horne who recorded seven kills and six digs.
The Deacons will host Clemson beginning at 4 p.m. on Sunday in the final home match of the season. Florida State will travel to Duke on Sunday for a match that will begin at 2 p.m.
