Wake Forest Volleyball Loses To Florida State

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Florida State defeated Wake Forest by scores of 11-15, 15-12, 15-6, and 15-4 in ACC volleyball action Sunday afternoon in Tallahassee, FL.

With the loss the Deacs fall to 8-14 overall and 1-7 in the ACC. Florida State improves to 18-4 and 5-3 in the ACC.

Wake Forest sophomore Sharon Harmsworth (Wadena, Saskatchewan) had a team leading 16 kills and 12 digs. Sophomore Katie Horne (Nashua, NH) contributed 11 kills and 10 digs for the Deacons.

The Deacs next match will be Friday, October 24 vs. Maryland at Reynolds Gym beginning at 7 p.m..
