Wake Forest Falls to Maryland in Three Games

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Senior right side hitter and All-America candidate Elizabeth Efron recorded a team-high 10 kills and hit. 471, and the Maryland defense stymied the Wake Forest offense, limiting the Demon Deacons to a .053 hitting percentage, en route to a 15-6, 15-12, 15-7 win in Ritchie Coliseum on Friday night.

Senior setter Eden Kroeger recorded a team-high 12 digs and totaled 27 assists in leading the Terrapins to the 3-0 win. Efron also pitched in three service aces while junior middle hitter Jaime Summers posted five blocks at the net.

Katie Horne led the Deacons on offense with 13 kills.
