Oct. 2, 2004 Tallahassee, F.L. - The Wake Forest Volleyball team dropped their fourth straight ACC match, while Florida State improved to 1-3 in the ACC with a 3-0 win over the Deacons on Saturday night. Wake Forest had two players in double figures. Morgan Havig and Christy Williams both recorded 10 kills for the game. The team recorded a total of 46 kills and finished with a hitting percentage of .138. The Seminoles had four players in double figures, finishing with 62 total kills and a hitting percentage of .245. They improved to 8-5 overall while the Deacons recorded an 7-6 mark overall. In game 1, the Seminoles took an early lead and the Deacons eventually fell 30-20. Game 2, however, went the distance with the Deacons eventually falling 41-39 in a grueling match. Finally, Florida State sealed the match with a 30-26 win in game 3. Wake Forest returns to action on Friday, October 8th against Georgia Tech.
