DURHAM, N.C. -

Two more members of the Wake Forest track and field team qualified for the NCAA East Regional Championships at the Duke Twilight Meet on Sunday.  Competing in the 1,500-meter run, sophomores Allison Kieffer and Nicole Schappert became the 18th and 19th Deacons to qualify for the regional championships.

Schappert ran a time of 4:27.30 while Kieffer ran 4:27.44 to beat the event's NCAA qualifying standard of 4:27.80.

Senior Eric Seely ran a seasonal best time of 48.06 in the 400-meter dash, beating his previous best by .39.

Additionally, Demon Deacon distance assistant coach Matt Kerr won the men's division of the 1,500-meter run.
