PHILADELPHIA -

Members of the Wake Forest men's and women's track and field teams were in Philadelphia on Saturday for the final day of the 113th annual Penn Relays.  The men's 4x200-meter relay team placed sixth in the meet's "Championship of America."

After qualifying for the finals of the event on Friday, the team of Kevin Marion, Eric Seely, Tyler Dodds and Jonathan Reid ran a time of 1:24.58 on Saturday.

Competing in the mile for the first time this season, senior Michelle Sikes ran a time of 4:38.38 in the event to place third overall.

Finally, the men's 4x800-meter relay team placed 27th in the competition in a time of 7:50.97.

The Deacs will be off next weekend before competing in the Georgia Tech Invitational on May 11.
