Track: Outdoor: 2007: Finished fourth in the 100m hurdles in a time of 14.25 at the 49er Classic... regionally qualified and placed fourth in the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.83 and seventh in the 400m hurdles (1:02.13) at the Wake Forest Open... set a new school record in the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.73 to finish third at the Yellow Jacket Invitational and finished in seventh in the 400m hurdles in a time of 1:02.67... member of the 3rd place 4x100m relay team at the Sea Ray Relays in Knoxville, TN.
Indoor: 2007: Ran a time of 8.38 in the 55m hurdles and competed in the 4x400m relay with a combined team time of 3:52.61 at the Virginia Tech Invitational... finished the 60m hurdles in 9.11 at the Clemson Invitational and finished sixth overall as a member of the 4x400m relay team with a time of 3:53.13... placed fourth at the JRF Multi-Event Challenge in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.15 and sixth in the long jump with 17 feet, 2 inches... set a PR at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.09... ran a new personal best at the Carolina Classic in the 60m hurdles finishing fourth with a time of 8.92... finished 25th in the 200m dash with a time of 25.85, took third place in the 55m hurdles with a personal best of 8.14 seconds, and placed 21st in the long jump (5.20m) at the Virginia Tech Challenge.
Background: AA state champion and record holder in the 100m hurdles and 300m hurdles in 2004... repeated as state champion in the 100m hurdles in 2005, but in AAA division... runner-up in both the 100m and 300m hurdles in 2006... was a national qualifier in 2005 and 2006 for the young women's 400m hurdles... earned varsity letters in track all four years... winner of the Scholar Athlete award... born March 2, 1988 in Atlanta, Ga... daughter of Rick and Georgia Vaughn.
