Ran in three races on the season ... Top finish was seventh on the team and 33rd overall at the Virginia Tech Invitational with a 19:18.2 in the 4.6-kilometer event.
2008 Indoor
Finished 6th and ran her best mile time of 5:41.54 at the ASU Limited Open (2-8-08) ... Also turned in a 5:42.49 in the Clemson Invite (1-18-08) ... Ran her only 800-meter race at the Virginia Tech Challenge (2-23-08) and finished at 2:33.85.
2008 Outdoor
Ran a 5:07.20 to finish 14th at the Spec Towns Invite (4-12-08) in the 1,500-meter run ... Also finished 8th in the 1,500-meter run at the WCU Invite (3-30-08) in a time of 5:12.98.
2007 Cross Country
Finished 39th overall at the Wake Forest Relays with a time of 20:49... ran a time of 22:24 to finish 66th at the Lou Onesty Invitational.
Background:
An all-around athlete who played softball and field hockey in addition to earning seven varsity letters in track and cross country at Somers High School... all-league, all-section and all-county runner in track in addition to all-state in cross country... captain and MVP of cross country and track teams... recipient of the President's Excellence Academic Award, high honor roll and member of the National Honor Society... undecided on a major... born Aug. 1, 1989 in Mount Kisco, NY... daughter of Paula and Richard Clinchy.
