GREENSBORO, N.C. - Sophomore Anna Jerman and freshman Sasha Kulikova were named to the 20-member All-ACC Academic women's tennis team, announced this week by league commissioner John Swofford.

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.

Miami led all ACC schools with four selections including NCAA women's tennis singles champion Audra Cohen. Georgia Tech and Clemson landed three picks. Duke, Florida State and Wake Forest also earned a pair of academic nods, while Virginia and Virginia Tech placed one apiece.

Jerman is one of eight players who are repeat All-ACC academic honorees, while Kulikova is one of eight players to earn the nod as a freshman.

The Demon Deacon duo compiled a 12-4 record in doubles, going 11-2 at the No. 2 spot. In singles, Kulikova, the team MVP, went 17-4 playing at the No. 3-6 positions, while Jerman compiled a 12-8 record, playing most matches at the No. 3 spot.
