ATHENS, Ga. -

The Wake Forest doubles team of Alexandra Hirsch and Ashlee Davis will be in competition on Thursday as part of the doubles portion of the NCAA Tennis Championships in Athens, Ga. 

The Wake pair will square off with Cal's Susie Babos and Zsuzsanna Fodor, the No. 1 ranked doubles team in the Pac-10.  The winner of the match will see either Alejandra Guerra and Daria Petrovic of UNC or Catrina Thompson and Christian Thompson of  Notre Dame in the Round of 32 on Friday. 

Their last time out, Davis and Hirsch fell to Ragini Acharya and Lauren Sabacinski, 9-7, of William & Mary in the second round of the NCAA Tennis Team Championships.  They will be looking to improve their record to 8-5 on the season.
