WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The 14th-ranked Wake Forest women's tennis match looks to win its third consecutive match as it hosts No. 17 William and Mary on Wednesday in a 2 p.m. match at the Leighton Tennis Stadium.

Wake Forest (8-3, 2-2 ACC) went 2-0 over the weekend defeating No. 45 NC State, 4-3, before cruising to a 6-1 victory over Furman in a non-conference match. Senior Ashlee Davis clinched the match at No. 2 singles to push the Demon Deacons over the Wolfpack for the team's second conference win.

The Deacs' Alexandra Hirsch holds a No. 60 ranking in singles, while Christian Tara and Davis check in at No. 89 and No. 103, respectively.

William and Mary, which compiled a school-record 11 consecutive wins, suffered its first loss of the season, 4-3, at No. 29 Colorado. The Tribe is 7-1 against ranked opponents, which includes a 4-3 victory over then-No. 1 Georgia Tech.

Megan Moulton-Levy leads the Tribe with a No. 9 ranking, while Katarina Zoricic is ranked No. 65. The two pair up for the No. 1 doubles team in this week's ITA Collegiate Rankings.
