WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest women's tennis team will host a pair of conference matches this weekend, beginning with Virginia at 12 p.m. on Saturday followed by Virginia Tech at 12 p.m. on Sunday.

The Demon Deacons (3-5) enter the match with a recent loss to No. 22 TCU on Thursday. Wake Forest took the Horned Frogs to three sets on all singles courts, but Sasha Kulikova and Emilee Malvehy were the only Deacs to nail down wins in the 5-2 loss.

Virginia (5-4, 1-0) kicked off ACC season with a 4-3 win over Virginia Tech on February 10. In the last Cavalier outing, the squad put up a 4-3 loss to Tennessee in Charlottesville.

The Hokies (12-3, 0-1) have earned four back-to-back wins, including an upset over No. 25 Virginia Commonwealth. VT will play NC State on Saturday before its matchup with Deacons on Sunday.

Next week the Deacs are headed to California for their spring break match with San Diego State on March 13.
