WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - After five days and 149 tennis matches, the ITA Southeast Regional Tournament concluded Monday afternoon at the Wake Forest Indoor Tennis Center. Clemson's Josipa Bek claimed the singles title while North Carolina duo of Sanaz Marand and Sophie Grabinski earned the doubles title.

After a grueling three-hour quarterfinal match with Vanderbilt's Catherine Newman on Sunday evening, Josipa Bek did it all over again during the first match on Monday, edging Tennessee's Caitlin Whoriskey 5-7, 7-5, 7-6(2) in the singles semifinal. Taking only a half hour break, the freshman from Croatia defeated Furman's two-seed Laura Gioia 6-2, 7-5 for the overall win.

Second-seeded Sanaz Marand and Sophie Grabinski played their closest match in the quarterfinals, taking Tennessee's Maria Sorbello/Rosaria Alda to a tiebreaker. The UNC team then topped Duke's fifth-seed Amanda Granson/Reka Zsilinksa 8-5 in the semis and Berkeley Brock/Lenka Hojckova 8-2 in the final match.
