Singles: Finished with 6-5 conference mark... defeated ACC opponents from Maryland, Boston College, NC State, #12 Miami... started at No. 5 in the lineup, and moved up to the Deacons' No. 2 slot by the end of the season... played back-to-back matches without giving up a game: UM-Twin Cities's Danielle Mousseau (1/28/07) & Syracuse's Carolina Huignard (2/2/07)... defeated four opponents from ranked schools in straight sets: #23 Tennessee's Samantha Orlin (2/25/07), #12 Miami's Caren Seenauth (3/9/07), #45 NC State's Julia Roach (3/16/07), Lauren Cash of BC (3/31/07), Michal Amir of #75 Maryland (4/1/07).
Doubles: Finished 2007 ranked 54.. 2007-08 ranked 29th ITA preseason poll with Sasha Kulikova... went 12-4 with Kulikova
and 3-2 with Christian Tarain 2006-07... defeated #22 Caitlin Collins/Sanaz Marand (UNC) with Kulikova... went on a 12-2 with Kulikova from 3/11/07-5/11/07, defeating opponents from #27 Florida State, #45 NC State, Furman, #17 William & Mary, Boston College, #75 Maryland, #6 Georgia Tech, #8 Clemson, #18 Duke, Maryland, #10 North Carolina and #51 Penn.
FRESHMAN SEASON
Ranked as high as No. 99 in singles in the country... Compiled a convincing campaign primarily in the No. 3 spot going 24-12 in singles play... began the spring season with five consecutive singles victories... recorded three wins against nationally-ranked opponents including a win over No. 57 Tara Ilyer of Duke, 6-3, 6-0... defeated 93rd-ranked Kady Pooler of Arizona State, 6-3, 6-2... knocked off 95th-ranked Sara Anundsen of North Carolina 6-3, 6-2... finished the season with a 7-4 ACC record in singles... recorded post-season victories against Florida State and South Carolina... picked up ACC dual match victory against Duke, NC State, Miami, Florida State, North Carolina, Virginia Tech, Maryland... recorded dual match victories against Purdue, Charlotte, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Illinois, Indiana, Arizona State... Went 16-17 in doubles matches primarily in the No. 2 spot on the team... finished the season with a 4-6 record in ACC doubles competition... teamed with fellow freshman Christian Tara to beat the No. 60 nationally ranked doubles team of Virginia Tech, 8-5... earned a postseason victory with Ashlee Davis against South Carolina... earned ACC dual match victories against NC State, Virginia Tech, Boston College and Clemson.
PRIOR TO WAKE FOREST
The winner of the ITF G4/Malta... progressed to the quarterfinals of the Pony Malta Cup... won the Copa Shich in Ecuador .... a Copa Graiman finalist in 2004... has competed in the French Open, the US Open and the Wimbledon Juniors... ranked 33rd by the ITF 18+under rankings... has played in international tournaments in Europe, South America and North Africa.
