LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - The second-seeded Wake Forest women's soccer team will face third-seeded Florida State in the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament semi-finals this Friday at 7:30 p.m.

The Demon Deacons advanced past the first round with an overtime win over Duke on Wednesday night. Sophomore Kaley Fountain netted her first goal of the season in the 96th minute to push the Deacs over the seventh-seeded Blue Devils 1-0.

Florida State also had a 1-0 win in the opening round of the tournament, downing No. 6-seed Boston College. Katrin Schmidt scored the game-winner in the 72nd minute with an assist by FSU stand out Mami Yamaguchi.

During the FSU/WFU regular season match, the Demon Deacons pulled of a senior night upset worth remembering, as Jill Hutchinson scored the game-winner immediately following a 45-minute rain delay with less than three minutes remaining in regulation. The contest marked the first time since 2002 the Deacons have pulled out a win over the Seminoles.

Friday's game will be televised on ACCselect.com and GameTracker will be available at TheACC.com.
