WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The 16th-ranked Wake Forest women's soccer team looks for its second-straight victory on Thursday night as it travels to Tallahassee, Fla., to meet Florida State. Opening kickoff is set for 7 p.m. (ET) and the game will be televised by FSN Florida (Time Warner Digital Channel 180, DirecTV Channel 617 and Dish Network Channel 423).

The Deacons snapped a three-game conference losing streak on Sunday, shutting out Clemson 2-0. Before the game, Wake Forest honored its six seniors, and two of those seniors contributed to the two goals scored. Senior Whitney Berry assisted on the first goal of the game scored by junior forward Jill Hutchinson, while senior Amy Smerdzinski added an insurance goal in the second half.

Junior goalkeeper Laura Morse recorded her fifth shut out of the season, making one save. Morse lowered her goals against average to 0.90.

Hutchinson leads Wake Forest in goals (7), assists (5) and points (19). Junior forward Allie Sadow has scored six goals on the year and has 14 points.

Florida State enters Thursday's match with a 10-2-1 record, including a 4-1-0 mark in ACC play. The Seminoles, the runner-up in the 2007 NCAA Tournament, are currently tied for second in the league, a game behind North Carolina.

Sanna Talonen leads Florida State with eight goals and 18 points on the season. Tiffany McCarty has scored seven goals on the season and has 17 points. Lauren Switzer leads the team with five assists and also has three goals on the season.

Kate Milstead is the goalkeeper for the Seminoles, playing just less than 1100 minutes this season. Milstead has a goals against average of 0.57 on the season and has notched five shut outs on the season.

Wake Forest and Florida State are meeting for the 18th time in series history. The Deacons lead the overall series 8-6-3, but the two teams have split the previous six meetings in Tallahassee. The Deacs and Seminoles split a pair of meetings last season, with Wake Forest winning 3-2 in the regular season, while Florida State won 5-2 in the ACC Tournament.
