LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - The Wake Forest women's soccer team was unable to defeat Florida State a second time in 2007 and fell 5-2 to the Seminoles in the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament semifinals at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex.

Seniors Maggie Horne and Laura Colven netted goals for the Demon Deacons to cut down a 5-0 deficit. Horne's shot in the 87th minute set the final WFU mark in Friday night's contest.

Florida State's Mami Yamaguchi put the Seminoles up 1-0 in the 14th minute, but the Deacs were able fend off the FSU charge for the rest of the half. The Seminoles then netted four back-to-back goals beginning in the 46th minute, including two by sophomore midfielder Lauren Switzer.

The Deacons will now await NCAA draws, set to be announced on Monday at 8 p.m. on ESPNews.
