Entering her fourth season on the coaching staff is 1999 Wake Forest graduate, Meghan Suddes. Suddes played four seasons for Tony da Luz, two years at San Diego and two at Wake Forest.
Responsible for recruiting, practice plans and academic supervision, Suddes also facilitates team building exercises.
Prior to returning to her alma mater to coach, Suddes served as the head coach for the Ohio Premier Club Team and worked for a company in Columbus, OH, that provides team building challenge courses for corporations and sports teams.
A skilled forward for the Demon Deacons in 1997 and 1998, Suddes scored 11 goals and recorded four assists at Wake Forest, totaling 24 goals and eight assists in her career. Voted the Freshman of the Year for Toreros, Suddes scored a pair of goals against Texas A&M in the first round of the NCAA Tournament her sophomore year. Leading the team in scoring her second year at San Diego, Suddes was ranked ninth in the West Coast Conference with 10 goals.
Spending her summers from 1996-99 playing soccer in the USISL W-League, Suddes spent three years with the Columbus Ziggs and one year with the Piedmont Triad Spark.
Born in South Bend, Ind., and raised in Dublin, Ohio, Suddes graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in communication studies. She enjoys mountain biking and golf.
Meghan was married to Jon Cox, also a Wake Forest graduate, this past summer.
