Women's Golf In Third After Two Rounds Of Mercedes

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- After two rounds of the Mercedes-Benz Women's Golf Championship,

Wake Forest stands in third place in a field of 18 teams. The Deacs have been led by

freshman Maria Beautell, who is currently at an even par score of 144 and freshman

Nuria Clau, who stands one over par at 145.

As a team, Wake Forest is currently twenty-eight shots above par and four shots

behind co-leaders South Carolina and Georgia. Both teams stand at 24 above par.

Third round action is scheduled for Sunday.
