Wake Forest Women's Golf 11th After Two Rounds At Lady Paladin Invitational

Alexandra Armas Second In Individual Standings

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The eighth-ranked Wake Forest women's golf team fired a round of 315 to fall to 11th place after the second round of the Lady Paladin Invitational in Greenville, SC on Saturday.

After two days of play the Deacs have a team score of 624, 30 strokes behind first place Auburn.

Senior Alexandra Armas (Las Palmas, Canary Islands) led the Deacs with a round of 74. Heading into Sunday's final round, Armas is second, four strokes back of individual leader Angela Stanford of Texas Christian.

For the second day in a row, freshman Marta Prieto was the only other Deac able to post a score below 80. She finished with a 79 and is tied for 33rd place.
