Women's Golf at NCAA East Regional
Wake holds fourth place after round one.

DURHAM, N.C.--The NCAA Women's Golf East Regional started first-round action on Thursday at the Duke Golf Club.
SEC Champion Georgia leads the tournament with a 293, followed by Duke and LSU
with a 297. Julia Boros of Georgia fired a 69 to lead the individual field, followed by teammate
Reilley Rankin, the SEC Player and Freshman of the Year, with a 70.
Other SEC teams participating in the East Regional include Florida and Tennessee, which
are tied for eighth with a 308; Auburn, tied for 10th with a 309; Kentucky, tied with Ole Miss for
14th with a 312; and Alabama, in 16th place with a 313.
Eight of the 19 teams and two individuals from the East Regional will advance to the
NCAA Championship on May 20-23 in Madison, Wis., at the University Ridge Golf Course.
The East Regional will continue Friday and Saturday at 8 a.m. (EST).
