BROWN SUMMIT, N.C. - The No. 14 Wake Forest women's golf team carded a final round 311 to finish tied for sixth with a three-day total of 919 (+55) at the Bryan Park National Collegiate in chilly Brown Summit, N.C.

Nannette Hill was the top finisher for the Deacs as the junior rose nine spots to finish the tournament tied for fifth place. Hill shot a five-over 77 on the day and a 214 (+8) for the tournament to record her second top five finish of the season and her first since her win at the Landfall Tradition in October. Hill led the Deacs with four birdies in the final round.

Freshman Natalie Sheary posted a five-over 77 to finish tied for 25th place. Sheary ended the weekend with a three-round total of 231 (+15).

Allie Bodemann shot a nine-over 81 Sunday to land in a tie for 34th. The freshman fell 14 spots in the final round and finished the weekend with a 17-over 233.

Senior Jordan Craig, playing as an individual, recorded a 10-over 82 to land in a tie for 37th. Craig was tied for 20th entering the final round.

Jean Chua posted an 11-over 83 to end the weekend in a tie for 45th place. The junior shot a 19-over 235 for the three-day event.

Senior Laura Crawford shot a seven-over 79, her lowest round of the tournament, to finish tied for 64th.

Florida took the team title by two strokes after carding a 906 (+42) for the tournament. The win was the first victory for the Gators at the Bryan Park National Collegiate. Florida finished in second place in 2007.

Arkansas' Stacy Lewis won the individual medal after posting an even 216 on the weekend. Lewis beat Duke's Amanda Blumenherst by one stroke.

The Deacs will return to action at the ACC Championships, April 18-20 in Daytona Beach, Fla.
