BADEN, N.C. - Sophomore Jean Chua and freshman Dolores White finished 1-2 to lead four Wake Forest individuals at the Lady Falcon Invitational earlier this week at the Old North State Club (Par 72, 5842 yards).

Chua's victory gives the Demon Deacon women's golf team back-to-back individual titles at the event. Junior Jordan Craig took home the tournament crown in 2006.

Chua shot a 76-75=151 (+7) on Monday and Tuesday to post the first individual tournament title of her collegiate career.

White finished just one stroke back of Chua at 77-75=152 (+8). The Lakeland, Fla., native tied with Newberry's Franziska Blum for second overall out of a field of 83 golfers.

Freshmen Laura Ormson and Erin Boyle also competed for Wake Forest at the invitational. Ormson placed in a tie for 29th at 84-86=170 (+26), while Boyle finished in 49th with a score of 85-92=177 (+33).

Ormson and Boyle were competing for the first time this season.

Wake Forest hits the links again March 16-18 at the LSU Invitational in Baton Rouge, La.
