WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The third-ranked Wake Forest field hockey squad is set to do battle with the No. 4 Maryland Terrapins in the second round of the ACC Field Hockey Tournament in College Park, MD.

The Deacons are seeded second in the draw, while the Terrapins earned the No. 3 seed. Wake Forest enters the 19th annual ACC Field Hockey tourney with a 16-2 overall record and a 3-1 league mark. The Deacons topped the Terps 5-3 in Winston-Salem in the two teams' only meeting this season. Maryland brings a 15-3, 2-2 record into the game.

Game time is set for 4:00 pm on Friday, November 3. The winner of the game will face the winner of No. 1 North Carolina - No. 4 Virginia/No. 5 Duke on Sunday, November 5. That championship game will be presented live on HTS beginning at 3:30 pm.

All games will be played at the artificial turf facility at the University of Maryland.
