WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The second-ranked Wake Forest field hockey team will face conference rival No. 15 Virginia on Saturday in Charlottesville, Va.

The Demon Deacons (14-2, 1-2) have gone undefeated through the last five matches but have dropped the most recent conference contests, falling 4-2 to Maryland and 4-3 to North Carolina.

The Cavaliers (11-6, 1-2) rank just behind the Deacons in league standings, holding the fifth place spot with a 1-2 ACC record. Maryland currently sits atop the conference rankings, as well as the national rankings, with a 14-2, 3-1 mark for 2008.

Next weekend Wake Forest will finish out the regular season slate at Boston College on November 1 and Dartmouth on November 2.
