WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The third-ranked Wake Forest (10-4, 1-2) field hockey team is set to face No. 19 Virginia on Saturday in an Atlantic Coast Conference game on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Kentner Stadium. The Demon Deacons are looking to grab their sixth consecutive win after concluding their road schedule with three victories in California.

Saturday's conference match-up will be featured on ACC Select.

Last Time Out... The Deacs returned home after a 3-0 road trip to California where they played three games in four days. Wake kicked off the trip with a thrilling 4-3 win over Cal. Trailing 3-2 with less than seven minutes to go in regulation, Wake scored back-to-back goals in the final two minutes of play for the win. Senior Chelsea Cipriani scored her second game-tying goal to knot the score at 3-3 and sophomore Regina Shannon knocked in the game- winner in the final minute. Wake Forest followed up with a 5-1 win over Pacific and an 8-0 shutout over Stanford.

About Virginia The Cavaliers are 0-3 in conference play and hold a 9-7 overall record. Ranked 19th in the latest Coaches' poll, Virginia is coming off of a 3-1 win over Longwood. Inge Kaars Sijpesteij leads the Cavs with 18 points, including seven goals and four assists, while Traci Ragukas adds eight goals and one assist for 17 points.

Series vs. Virginia Virginia leads the all-time series 14-10, but Wake Forest has won the last 11 meeting. During the regular season, the Deacs defeated the Cavaliers 2-1 in overtime. The two teams met again in the second round of the NCAA Tournament with Wake Forest coming out on top 3-2.
