Fifth-ranked Wake Forest squares off against No. 8 Duke in both teams' Atlantic Coast Conference opener on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Durham. The Demon Deacons hold a 1-2 record, while the Blue Devils are 2-2 on the season.

Wake will look to bounce back from its overtime loss against North Carolina last week in which freshman Emily Cummings scored the game-tying goal, her first of her collegiate career.

Duke is coming off a weekend split - after shutting out William & Mary, 3-0, the Blue Devils fell to then-10th ranked Iowa, 2-0. Sophomore midfielder Aime Survilla leads Duke with two goals for four points. The Blue Devils lead the all-time series 39-22, but the Deacs have won 7 of the last 10 meetings. Last year, Wake picked up a 3-0 victory during the regular season before meeting its cross-town rival in the semifinals of the NCAA Championship. Wake Forest advanced to the title game after a 5-4 double-overtime victory.

Note: Last week's match-up between Wake Forest and North Carolina will not count towards their ACC records as both teams meet for a second time on Sept. 29. The second match-up will go towards both teams' conference records.
