WINSTON-SALEM, N.C -- Wake Forest women's basketball head coach Charlene Curtis has announced the signing of Heather Miller, a 5-10 guard from Bassett, VA, to a national letter of intent during the November early signing period. An outstanding high school player and student, Miller already ranks as the all-time leading scorer in Bassett High School history (male or female) and the leading female scorer in district history. She has amassed over 2,280 career points to date and is currently averaging 27 points per game in her senior season. As a junior, she averaged 25 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game, connecting on 52 percent of her shots from the floor and 54 percent of her three-point attempts. She earned First-Team All-Group and All-Timesland honors in 1997. Miller is an honor roll student who currently ranks No. 1 in her class with a 4.0 GPA.
