June 28, 2007 GREENSBORO, N.C. - Sophomore forward Alex Tchangoue was named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic women's basketball team, announced today by league commissioner John Swofford. To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career. Tchangoue is the first women's basketball student-athlete to earn the accolade since 2003 when Heather Miller was named to the academic team. Tchangoue, a communication major, appeared in all of Wake's 29 games during the 2006-07 season and averaged 11.9 points per game.
