Feb. 29, 2000 WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Senior guard Alisha Mosley was named to the Honorable-Mention All-ACC Women's Basketball Team, it was announced today by the Atlantic Coast Sports Writers Association.
Through 27 regular season games, Mosley has led the Demon Deacons in
scoring (11.4 ppg), steals (1.1 spg) and three-point shooting (34-101,
33.7%). She has tallied 17 double-figure scoring outings, including
three-games with 20 or more points. Her best game of the year came in the
Deacs' 69-56 upset of No. 15 North Carolina on Jan. 16th, when she scored a
career-high 24 points, hitting 6 of 9 from the floor and 11 of 13 from the
line. She went on to record her first career double-double with 14 points
and 10 rebounds vs. Clemson just eight days later. Mosley has made her
mark in the Wake Forest record books as well, ranking among the top five
all-time in three-pointers made and attempted and in the top 10 in assists
and free throw percentage. Mosley was a 1997 ACC All-Freshman Team pick.
