BLACKSBURG, Va. - The Wake Forest women's basketball team will polish off regular season play in Blacksburg on Sunday against Virginia Tech at 2 p.m. The contest at Cassell Coliseum will be televised on ACCSelect.com.

Wake Forest enters the contest with a win last Sunday over Miami that pushed its Atlantic Coast Conference record to 2-11 and brought the regular season tally to 15-13. The Hokies are currently 14-13 and 1-11, but will play Georgia Tech on Friday evening before hosting the Demon Deacons on Sunday.

When the two teams met on at the beginning of February, WFU guard Alex Tchangoue posted a career high eight assists and added 11 points and nine rebounds in the Wake Forest 67-50 win. Virginia Tech's Brittany Cook was the game's high scorer with 19 points and 12 rebounds. WFU freshman Brittany Waters had a breakout performance, earning her first collegiate start and posting a career high 15 points.

The last Demon Deacon conference win on the road was a 68-60 victory over Clemson on February 21, 2005. A win over Virginia Tech in Blacksburg would snap Wake Forest's 0-19 ACC regular season road drought.

Sunday will wrap up the regular season for all Atlantic Coast Conference teams. The Virginia Tech/Wake Forest match-up is one of five scheduled games on March 2. Other conference contests include Maryland at NC State, Georgia Tech at Virginia, Boston College at Miami and Duke at North Carolina. The ACC tournament will begin on Thursday, March 6 in Greensboro, N.C.
