CLEMSON, S.C. -
The Wake Forest women's basketball team will face Clemson at the Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson, South Carolina on Sunday at 2 p.m. Clemson (9-13, 2-5) has dropped its last three contests, most recently a road loss at Georgia Tech (59-77). The Tigers also suffered home losses to Florida State (63-39) and Boston College (63-68). Wake Forest (13-10, 0-8) last met No. 3 North Carolina in Winston-Salem, where the Tar Heels outlasted the Deacons 76-55. This is the second meeting this season for the Deacons and the Tigers. Clemson took an 85-73 win over WFU in Winston-Salem on January 14. Camille Collier had a career high 20 points in the win, while Christy Brown poured in 20 points for the Tigers. On the glass, D'Lesha Lloyd and Corinne Groves each had 10 rebounds. Clemson leads 44-12 since the series beginning in 1977. Clemson holds a 4-1 advantage through the last five meetings. The 83-70 Demon Deacon victory over the Tigers on February 12, 2006 was the most recent WFU conference win. Next up for the Deacons will be a home contest against Virginia Tech on February 7.
