Winston-Salem, NC - Wake Forest cross country head coach Annie Bennett announced the 2005 men's and women's cross country schedule on Friday. The season includes six meets before the conference championship and four consecutive meets in the state of North Carolina.

The Deacons return fifth year senior Annie Bersagel for the 2005 season. The Greeley, Colo., native red-shirted the 2004 season after breaking her foot during the first week. Also returning for the women are All-Southeast Region selections Hanna Bremler, Michelle Sikes and Selina Sekulic. Sikes and Sekulic were named All-ACC and Sekulic went on to earn All-America honors last season.

The men return Shane Ahlers, the only Deacon to be named All-Southeast Region last season.
