WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's and women's cross country squads were named to the 2007 Division I U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic list, with senior Caitlin Chrisman earning an individual spot on the women's All-Academic team.

Chrisman is one of only 91 female student-athletes from a national pool representing 62 Division I institutions that were named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic team. Chrisman was recently honored by the Atlantic Coast Conference for her outstanding achievements on the track and in the classroom with the Weaver-James-Corrigan Postgraduate Scholarship.

Overall, 98 men's Division I programs received the USTFCCCA's academic honor, which is just under a third of all Division schools that sponsor men's cross country (299). On the women's side, 158 Division I women's programs received the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honor of the 325 eligible teams.
