Goodridge and Deacons Look For Continued ACC Success

Wake Forest has exhibited excellence in cross country in the ACC during John Goodridge's tenure as head coach. The program looks to have another strong season in 1997.

In the ACC Championships, Wake Forest has finished first or second every season since 1988.

Along the way John Goodridge coached teams claimed ACC titles in 1989, 1990, 1993, and 1994.

Wake Forest is the only program in the ACC to have at least one All-ACC performer every year since 1988. In fact, the Deacons have had at least three members on the All-ACC squad every year since '88 with the exception of 1991when only two Deacs made the team.

Overall, 32 Demon Deacons have earned All-ACC accolades since the inception of the honor in 1985. That total is the most of any conference school.
