B-Team Records Second Place Finish at Greensboro
GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Led by Pete Swanson (Sherman, NY), the Wake Forest B-team finished second at the Greensboro Invitational.
Swanson, a sophomore, finished the race in a time of 26:42 to place eighth. Josh Buffolino was the second leading runner for the Deacons with a time of 27:03 to finish 14th.
The team finished with a score of 79, 48 points behind champion Western Carolina. VMI finished third with 81 points, while East Stroudsberg State with 82 points.
