Deacon's Finish Second
Wake has Finished First or Second Every Year Since 1988
TALLAHASSEE, FL--The men's Wake Forest cross country team continued its run of success at the ACC Championships with a second place finish at the meet on Monday morning.
Defending individual champion senior Nolan Swanson (Sherman, NY) was the top finisher for the Deacs with a sixth place finish and a time of 24:32.7. North Carolina's John Cline won the meet with a time of 24:06.6
Senior Eric Dunn (Pismo Beach, CA) was Wake Forest's second best finisher as he placed 11th with a time of 24:41.6. Junior Brett Strahan (Valencia, CA) was 18th (25:07.5), senior Pat Fitzgerald (Jeffersonville, NY) was 20th (25:11.2) and sophomore Stephan Pro (Olathe, KS) was 21st (25:11.2) to round out the scoring runners for John Goodridge's club.
