BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Sophomore Greg Billington captured his first career title at the Brooks Paul Short Run with a final time of 25:21, beating out a field of 270 participants. Wake Forest placed sixth of 41 teams in the Men's White Division 8K Brooks Paul Short Run at Lehigh University's Goodman campus.

Freshman Tom Morrison also earned a top-10 finish with his time of 26:01. Paul Loeser came in third for the Deacons with a time of 26:53, placing 36th overall.

Ben Morrow, Zach Hines and Matt King rounded out the Deacon field with times of 27:32, 28:05 and 28:42, respectively.

Cindy Adams competed in the Women's White Division 6K Brooks Paul Short Run for the Deacons. She placed 45th overall with a time of 23:18.

Wake Forest cross country is back in action tomorrow when the women's team competes in the Bill Dellinger Invitational. The men's and women's teams will travel to the Penn State Invitational on Oct. 17. The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. ET.
