The Wake Forest track and field team was in Philadelphia for day two of the 113th Penn Relays on Friday.  The day got off to a wet start, but the competition resumed around noon after its second weather delay.

For the first time this season, a 4x200-meter relay team consisting of Kevin Marion, Eric Seely, Tyler Dodds and Jonathan Reid was in competition.  The team placed seventh overall in the event in a time of 1:24.39.

Sophomore Phillip Warsaw followed up his strong showing at the ACC Championships in the 400-meter hurdles on Friday by placing 37th in the same event in a time of 55.47.  The Elizabethtown, Ky., native ran a regionally-qualifying time of 52.14 a week ago, also a new personal best.

The distance medley relay time of Keaton Morgan, Chris Catton, Nicholas Lepley and Matthew Owen placed 13th in a time of 10:07.41 while the 4x400-meter relay team placed 10th in 3:11.16.

The final day of the annual meet will begin on Saturday at 7 a.m.
