The Wake Forest men's and women's indoor track & field teams competed this past weekend in the Penn State National Meet in State College, PA. The two-day event was highlighted by performances from Nikeya Green, who took third in the 800m with a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 2:07.96, and the men's 4 x 400 Meter Relay team, who set a new school record with a time of 3:18.25. The foursome captured 11th place as Eric Seely led off the relay, Patrick Ladapo ran the second leg, Mike Brown took the third and Willie Idelette finished the anchor.
The Wake Forest women had a strong showing in the 3,000m with Anne Bersagel placing eighth with a time of 9:38.29, Jill Miller in 13th 9:41.42 and Erin Franklin in 20th with a time of 9:52.58. Lindsay Neuberger continues her strong showing in the weight throw, finishing third with a mark of 48-8.25. The women's Distance Medley Relay team took sixth place with a time of 11:52.29. In the Mile, Anna Sherman captured fourth with a time of 4:50.62, while Kara Mullin finished 16th with a time of 5:04.22. Adralyn Wendell came in seventh in the 1,000m with a time of 2:58.79, Shauna Danos took ninth in the 800m with a time of 2:14.55 and Rachel Mistur placed 15th in the 5,000m with a time of 17:52.90. The men's Distance Medley Relay squad picked up fourth place with a time of 9:56.24. Seely came in sixth in the 200m with a personal-best time of 21.85, while Singleton came in 11th in the 800m with a time of 1:53.47. Patrick Ladapo finished fifth in the 60m with a time of 6.90. Altieri finished the Mile in eighth place with a time of 4:12.23, Brad Wharton in ninth with a time of 4:12.64 and Kevin Jones in 16th with a time of 4:15.92. In the 5,000m, Garick Hill captured fifth with a time of 14:40.38, Brian Smith took 10th with a time of 14:50.82 and Sean Stevens came in 17th with a time of 14:59.63. Luke Orman tied for eighth place in the high jump with a mark of 6-5.0 and took 12th in the Long Jump with a mark of 22-7.0.
