Competed in the shot put in nine different events and bested his previous personal-record at five of those meets ... Recorded his best effort of 54-11.50 at the Penn Relays (4-24-08) where he went on to finish 4th ... Also finished 4th with a mark of 54-08.25 at the Taylor Cattle Farms Classic (5-12-08) ... His throw of 53-07.75 at the ACC Championships was good enough for 7th ... Also at the Taylor Farms Classic, Sensing took the top spot in the discus throw with a season- and career-best toss of 164-10.00 ... Finished 3rd at the Purple and Orange Invite (5-10-08) with a discus throw of 164-09.00 ... After a 5th place showing in the discus at the Wake Forest Open, Sensing finished 9th at the ACC Championships with a throw of 154-04 ... Also finished fourth with a mark of 169-04.00 at the Spec Towns Invite (4-12-08) as well as a 14th place finish in the hammer throw of 142-10.

Competed in eight events in the shot put and recorded a season-best mark of 49-11.00 to finish 11th at the Virginia Tech Challenge (2-23-08) ... Posted a mark of 49-04.50 at the ACC Championship (2-29-08) and also registered 48-04.75 at the Virginia Tech Invite (1-11-08) to open the season ... Finished 12th with a discus throw of 124-10 at the Akron Open (2-2-08) and recorded a throw of 39-09.25 in his only outing with the weight throw at the ASU Limited on 2-8-08.
