Track & Field: Outdoor: 2005: Competed in the 800 meter race in six meets for the Deacons... ran his season-fastest time at the ACC Championship, where he finished 21st in the preliminaries of that event, with a time of 1:55.21.
2004: Finished in 10th place at the Tar Heel Opener in the 800m run... Broke a personal record in the 800m at the ACC Preliminary's, his 1:54.79 was good for a 16th place finish there.
2003: Posted a personal best time of 1:55.54 in the 800m at the Yellow Jacket Invitational.
Indoor: 2005: Placed 24th in the 1000m run with a 2:41.47 time at the Virginia Tech Challenge...Finished 20th in the 800m run with a 1:59.41 time at the ETSU Niswonger Invitational.
2004: Placed 10th at the Carolina Classic in the 800m... Finished 15th in that event at the NC Collegiate Big 12.
Cross Country: 2004: Finished 19th at the Wake Forest Relays... also competed for the Deacons at the Wake Forest Invitational and at the Iona Meet of Champions.
Background: Won the 800m State Championship three years in High School...lettered all four years in track, soccer, cross country, basketball, and tennis at the Galloway School...Named All-State in soccer his junior and senior season...Also named All-State in basketball his senior year...Chose Wake Forest over Georgetown, Duke, Florida State, Florida and Colorado College.
Personal: A sociology major... Born July 28, 1984 in Atlanta, Ga... Son of Jeff and Barbara Galloway ... Father ran on the US Olympic Team in 1976.
