WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The No. 20 Wake Forest men's tennis team will open conference play on Wednesday when it hosts NC State at 3:30 p.m. at WFU's Leighton Stadium.

The Wolfpack is 6-4 for the season and 2-2 through its last four matches. On Sunday, NC State dropped a 4-3 decision to Indiana in Raleigh. Ireland native James McGee leads the pack lineup, posting a 5-3 mark at No. 1 singles.

The Demon Deacons are 8-3 and will enter the match with a recent 7-0 sweep over Davidson. Sophomore Steve Forman currently boasts a seven-match win streak singles, split between Nos. 1 and 2.

Next week the Deacs will spend the week in Texas for the Wake Forest spring break. On Monday, Texas A&M will host the Deacons at 6 p.m. and on Friday, Wake Forest will play the TCU Horned Frogs in Fort Worth, Texas.
