Wake Forest Men's Tennis Tops Richmond, 6-1
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The Wake Forest men's tennis team defeated Richmond, 6-1, Friday afternoon at the Wake Forest Indoor Tennis Center to even the Demon Deacons' season record at 1-1.
Wake Forest won two of three doubles matches to capture the doubles point and then won five of six singles flights to claim the victory. Johan Hansen, Michael Berger, Brett Mauro, Jimmy Chou and Andres Guzman all won singles matches for Wake Forest. Richmond's (0-1) lone win came from Scott Pfeiffer, who defeated Billy Gluck, 6-3, 6-2, at No. 1 singles.

Wake Forest Men's Tennis Downs Appalachian State, 7-0
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The Wake Forest men's tennis team defeated Appalachian State, 7-0, Friday evening at the Wake Forest Indoor Tennis Center to improve the Demon Deacons' season record to 2-1. Appalachian State falls to 0-2.
Wake Forest won all three doubles matches to capture the doubles point and then swept all six singles flights to claim the victory. Johan Hansen, Billy Gluck, Michael Berger, Lars Kabiersch, Jimmy Chou and Andres Guzman all won singles matches for Wake Forest.
The Demon Deacons return to action on Feb. 20-22 when they host the Wake Forest Invitational.
