Clouston and Munoz Capture Doubles Title at ACC Indoors

CLEMSON, S.C.- Wake Forest's doubles team of junior Myles Clouston (Durban, South Africa) and freshman Raul Munoz (Mexico City, Mexico) defeated the team of Shawn Thomas and Rob Tedesco, 8-3, to capture the doubles title at the 1998 Atlantic Coast Conference Indoor Championships. Clouston and Munoz, who are ranked 38th in the country, now have a record of 14-2 on the season. In singles action, Clouston won two matches to advance to the quarterfinals before falling to Duke's Alberto Brause, 6-1, 1-6, 7-6, the tournament's second seed. Jimmy Chou, Johan Hansen, Michael Berger, Billy Gluck and Munoz all won their first round matches before being eliminated from the tournament.
